In remembrance of the 100th year of the United States entrance into World War One, Grove City College will be hosting a historical exhibit in the weeks surrounding Armistice Day (Veteran’s day).
This exhibit will highlight the historical connections of the College and community’s involvement as well as how it impacted the world. WWI is an often forgotten piece of history but was instrumental in the makeup of the modern world we live in.
During the First World War, the College and community worked side by side. In conjunction with the Grove City Historical Society, the aim is to represent what the College and town looked like during that time, their involvement in the war efforts, and the overall significance of WWI.
The exhibit will take place in the College’s Gallery in the Pew Fine Arts Center November 2-November 17th.
