Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a digital version of the weekend program? We will post this the week of homecoming.
Who is celebrating a reunion in 2017? Class years ending in '2 and '7 will celebrate a reunion this fall. Additionally, the following Greek groups are celebrating milestone reunions: Zeta, Zeta, Zeta/Tri-Sigs (100th), Beta Sigma (95th), Alpha Beta Tau (70th) and Omicron Xi (70th).
I'm celebrating a reunion; why haven't I received any information? If you graduated in a reunion class year or were part of a Greek group celebrating a milestone anniversary, you will begin to receive reunion information in the Spring. However, we can only communicate with those for whom we have updated contact information. Please update us with your current contact information by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
When does registration open? June 1, 2017.
It's not my reunion year, so why should I register? Since the weekend is an extremely busy one on campus, we ask that all alumni register so that we can effectively plan ahead for events. For example, all Academic Department Breakfasts are free for alumni, but pre-recorded attendance is required for accurate menu planning. Please help us serve you better by registering in advance.
Are the food tents on the Main Quad open to the public? No. The tents on the Main Quad host meals only for pre-registered (and paid for!) reunion class members and their guests. Please respect this policy by heading to the GeDUNK or Hicks Cafeteria (cash only) for lunch. The football stadium concession stand on lower campus will also be open at Noon.
I'm willing to pay! Can I purchase food at the Main Quad tents on Homecoming Saturday? Unfortunately, we cannot sell additional meals to non-reunion class alumni on Saturday. Since we are serving over 3,000 meals that day, our food amounts are set well in advance. Again, we encourage you to stop by the GeDUNK or Hicks Cafeteria for lunch. Please note that Hicks Cafeteria accepts cash only. The football stadium concession stand on lower campus will also be open at Noon.
When should I arrive on campus? Please plan to arrive on campus before 9 a.m. on Saturday morning to find adequate parking and avoid road closures. Note: Madison Avenue closes promptly at 9 a.m. for parade line-up.
I might have trouble getting around on campus. Is there a shuttle available? Yes. A shuttle bus will run throughout the day on Homecoming Saturday. Campus signage will direct you to various shuttle stops.
